I got a book recently that is titled “Writing Your Fears Away”. This book is an easy to read book which talks about why you should write down your worst case scenarios and even teaches you how to do it. I can assure you, you will not regret it! However; if you aren’t into reading or aren’t ready to experience how awesome the book is, just write down what your fears are. 3. Have Mercy On Yourself

Sometimes a lot of the stress and anxiety we deal with can come from putting too much pressure on ourselves. I know that for me, I feel like I have to be perfect at my job because I work with people. The best piece of advice I was given recently was You can't fix the world, you can only give them the tools to help themselves. Click To Tweet I don’t know about you but I really needed to hear that. While I can strive to do my best at my job, I must realize that I am human and I will make mistakes. I won’t always do my job perfectly but that is alright. I can always try again later. The same can be said of you. Next time you make a mistake, don’t stress yourself out. Forgive yourself and keep trying!

4. Pray

I know that some of you reading this may not be religious but how can I write about having peace without talking about the number one thing guaranteed to fill your heart with peace? God is the author of peace and his word says that he will give you peace unlike anything the world has to offer (see John 14:27). If you are afraid and are in need of peace, talk to God (pray) and ask him for it. You’ll be so glad you did!
