I want to share with you 10 must read verses for the fall season. Many people love this time of year, myself included. Fall is the season where the leaves can show us how beautiful it is to let things go. Believe it or not, the Bible has quite a few verses that bring to mind thoughts of the cooler weather and of Autumn.

3. Psalm 51:7- A Verse for the Fall
The fall brings to mind cooler temperatures and thoughts of snow. Of course with thoughts of snow I think of the cleansing blood of Jesus. This is one of my favorite verses that reminds me of Fall.
4. Isaiah 40:8
The grass withers and the flowers fall but the word of our God endures Forever (Isaiah 40:8). Click To Tweet During the fall the grass withers and we watch flowers fade. It’s a gentle reminder that this world will fall one day but God and his word will last forever .
5. Ecclesiastes 3:1
God has created every season for our enjoyment.

6. Psalm 104:9
He made the moon to mark the seasons and the sun knows when to go down. Psalm 104:19
You know, I cannot fathom how someone can look at the universe, the sun, the moon, the stars, see the seasons change and plants come and go and not believe in a divine creator. It seems impossible to think that all of this happened by chance. The Lord created the Earth and nature testifies to him. That reminds me of another verse I’d like to share with you. The Lord owns everything after all, he did create it. He is in charge of the earth, all that is in it, every season, and he even loves and cares for us too. Isn’t that a wonderful thought?
9. Jeremiah 5:24
They do not say in their hearts, ‘Let us fear the Lord our God, who gives the rain in its season, the autumn rain and the spring rain, and keeps for us the weeks appointed for the harvest. (Jeremiah 5:24)
10. Joel 2:23
Be glad, people of Zion,
rejoice in the Lord your God,
for he has given you the autumn rains
because he is faithful.
He sends you abundant showers,
both autumn and spring rains, as before. (Source)
Conclusion
As you can tell by the verses above, fall is a beautiful season. It is a time where we can be reminded that our God loves to refresh us with his spirit, we can find comfort in knowing that he is in control of all that is in the Earth (even the seasons), and we can experience the joy of letting the past go and looking to the future with confidence.
