I want to share with you 8 promises for hard days.
I’ve faced some hard days here recently and they have helped me.
I hope and pray they will help you too.
I haven’t written much in the last couple of weeks because of the trials I’ve faced.
Two weeks ago today, I fell in the parking lot skinning my knee, busting my lips, and bruising my legs.
Yesterday, out of nowhere, four 12×4 boards fell hitting me on my head, my shoulder, and my hip.
The pain has been so bad I have been unable to wash my hair properly or even brush my hair.
I joked with my family that the devil is trying his best to take me out and yet, here I stand.
why do we have hard days ?
We are all in a battle. We are in a battle not for just menial things, but for our very lives.
Our life now, and our life in eternity is the price of war.
It is up to us to give the fight our all and fight hard. You must fight hard because your very soul is worth it.
There was a war that was waged just after the creation of the world.
God created the heavens and the Earth and saw that “it was good”.
After that, in Genesis Chapter 3, we hear from our enemy from the very first time.
He is sly, cunning, and pure evil. He convinces his enemy (Adam and Eve) that they can be just like God and know both good and evil.
At the moment that they take a bite of the forbidden fruit in the garden, a war was waged.
The war that was started when Adam and Eve ate a piece of the fruit is a battle between good and evil, heaven and hell, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah [Jesus] and one who walks around like a lion seeking who he can devour [the devil] (see 1 Peter 5:8).
The Bible says that our battle isn’t against people who are flesh and blood but our battle is against spirits who work in a world unseen (see Ephesians 6:12).
We all have hard days. Sometimes, the battles we face can seem daunting and at times impossible to win but, dear one God has promised you so much in his word.
You can meditate on these 8 promises for hard days from God in the midst of the battle.
If you’re fighting right now just keep fighting. Eventually, you will be victorious.
8 promises for hard days written with love for you, faithful warrior
1. You Will be Alright
You may be surrounded by enemies but you are not crushed by them, you may be confused but you are not without hope, you may be struck down but you will not be destroyed.
It may feel like you are surrounded and will be defeated but hold on, you will be victorious.
Know that the Lord prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies and it’s there he pours out his spirit on you (Source).
Do not give up, let God pour out his power on you as you fight your enemies.
2. You have the authority against the evil one.
If you trust in God and resist the devil, the devil will have no choice but to leave.
“fight all your battles on your knees and you will win every time”.

If we kneel before God and submit to him, the devil will flee from us (see James 4:7).
3. God will equip you with all you need for victory.
4. God Will Fight with You
God will promises he will be with you always, even to the end of the world (see Matthew 28:20).
5. God will Fight For You
There will be times when you do not have the strength to fight and that’s o.k. because you do not have to fight alone.
Ask God to help you and he will fight for you. All he will ask is that you stand still and let him do it.
6. God Will Keep You Safe and Encourage You
He will cover you with his feathers (Source). He will hold you up by your right hand and whisper words of encouragement to you (see Isaiah 41:13).
7. The battle you are in is not impossible to win.
God will never let you fight something you can’t win, he will give you a way out (see 1 Corinthians 10:13)
He will take all that seems to be bad and he will make it good (see Romans 8:28 and Genesis 50:20).
At the end of this battle, you will win! Just like every other child of God, you will overcome the world (1 John 5:4).
8. After you Win the Battle, You Will Recover All You’ve Lost
Conclusion
You may be in the heat of the battle and feel that there is no end in sight but keep the armor of God on, hold fast to these promises, and fight because your family, your health, your mind, your soul are worth it. Thank him for the victory that is just ahead!

I’m sorry to hear about your recent troubles, but you are right; everything happens for our good in the end. It may be hard to see it in the moment, though. It was hard for me to understand this over 2 years ago, when my mom passed suddenly, but I trust God. Now I believe that her passing was a wake up call to help me strive to live our best life every day. Since then, my husband and I have revived our businesses. After the first year, when I KNEW I was in deep mourning, we built our businesses stronger than we had in the 3 decades that we had been attempting to build them. God knew that it would take something major for us to start to take massive action. I am convinced of that. Thanks for sharing an important message.
I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. You know, the Bible says that ALL things work together for good for those who love God so it makes sense that he would use your tragedy and make something good come of it. I am so happy to hear that your hard work and dedication has paid off. I pray that as you continue to work in your businesses, God will continue to pour out his blessings. God bless.
Everything happens for the good is what I believe in. Having faith is the most important thing. Wish you lots of luck and thanks for sharing this post.
Thank you so much!
