Hey, you need to read this. I don’t know who you are or where you’re from but Jesus told me to write this down because you needed to see it. You’re asking “where is God when the bad things happen”?
Your heart is breaking, you feel like your life is slowly falling apart. You’re seeking God but you can’t seem to hear him or feel him. You start to wonder if he’s even there anymore. I feel you, I hear you, You’re crying out to God with heart breaking and you’re wanting to know where God is when the bad things happen. Well, let’s take a moment find out.
1. He is With You
Isaiah 43:2 (one of my favorite verses) says “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you”. God is always with us no matter what we are walking through.
It may feel like you're world is ending. In fact, the world as you know it may be but even so, God is with you. Click To Tweet You know the saying “come hell or high water”? Well, he will stick with you even then.”
2. The Spirit of God Is In Heaven Interceding for You
The spirit of God helps us in our weakness by talking to God the father on our behalf with words that can’t be uttered. Maybe you’re so broken right now, you can’t even find the words to pray. That’s alright because the Holy Spirit is praying for you (see Romans 8:26-27).
Jesus himself took time to pray for all believers while he was in the Garden of Gethsemane. You can read his prayer in entirety here. Spoiler alert: it’s a beautiful tear jerker!
3. where is god when bad things happen? He is Leading You
Show of hands, who has heard the saying “if God brings you to it, he’ll bring you through it”? I know I have. While God doesn't cause bad things to happen, he will lead you through the dark times. Click To Tweet

4. He is Holding You Up in His Hand

Life may feel difficult, overwhelming, and even impossible to survive right now. You may be wondering where God is but he is with you, he’s praying for you, he’s leading you through the dark places, and when you don’t have the strength to stand, he is holding you up. Mind if I take a moment to pray for you?
Prayer
God, thank you for the person reading this post. Thank you for leading them here so that they can read the words that you had for them. Thank you, Lord for sharing your message so that others can hear it and be comforted. I pray that you would give the person reading this peace, give them strength, and just wrap them in your loving arms and comfort them. Thank you that you are always with us “even to the end of the world”. Thank you for holding us up, and for leading us even when the way seems dark and lonely. Please help us to trust you no matter what we are facing. Thank you, Lord for hearing this prayer.

Please pray for us stephen is at kilby and i miss him.so i dont hear ftom him.alot but i hope god watches over him.and kerps him.safe he is a great young man and i am worried about him.i know he is a child of god and his faith is strong but we cant see him.no more and it hurts
