Allow God to tame your tongue. James 3:8 says “But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison”. We cannot transform our speech, but the power of God can. It is through Christ all things are possible (Philippians 4:13).
Submit to God. The Bible says that if we submit to God and resist the devil, the devil will flee from us (James 4:7)
Know the Law of God. The one who knows God’s law speaks justice and utters wisdom. His steps will not slip (Psalm 37:30-31).
Fill your heart with good things. It is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45, Matthew 12:34, Proverbs 4:23).
Meditate on those things which are good (Philippians 4:8) so that you can glorify the Lord in your word and in deed (Colossians 3:17).
